Barcamp Orlando 08 Media Day
Day 2 of Barcamp Orlando started slow, either everyone was hung over from the Izea party at church or something because we did not have a large turnout initially. Ryan Price had to put together a quick presentation on request. By 12:00 the board was still pretty light with presentations, so I decided to post a talk on Search Engine Optimization.
Barcamp Orlando 08 IZEA Geek Out After Party
So I went to the IZEA after party in the same office building that I had almost purchased a 1,000 square foot shell of an office that was only going to cost $200,000.00 at the time. (Which by the way was a STEAL, but the $500. a month condo dues and $100.00 per month per employee parking fees kept me out of downtown Orlando.)
Barcamp Orlando 08 Dev Day
I was so excited about Barcamp Orlando 08 that I arrived half an hour early before volunteer show up time. This was fine though because I had to find a place to park, so it all worked out fine.

Barcamp Orlando 08 Mailing List
I got an email sent out over the Barcamp Orlando 08 mailing list. The title is “Who would you invite to a talk about the state of the industry?” which was sent out Ryan Price. After reading the email I have to admit I felt a little weird about it.
Barcamp Orlando 08 Planning Party
Now we come to the next Barcamp Orlando Planning Meeting on January 14th, 2008.
Again this year I came early, since I came all the way from the Heathrow Lake Mary area down 417. I chit chat briefly to Gregg and his wife about little stuff I cannot remember.

If you really want to follow this story, then I recommend reading the post “Barcamp Orlando 07 Planning Party” first.
Barcamp Orlando 07 Planning Party
On June 24th 2007 I went to a Barcamp planning party that I had heard about from Gregg Pollack who had signed up for our Web Entrepreneur Meetup and then posted on our message board. At this party I met some very interesting people who told me about some of the groups that they were very passionate about. I met Gregg Pollack Officially and then immediately after Robert Dempsey. I quickly found myself in a heated Windows (me) verses Mac (them) debate. Lucky for them, people were arriving (just kidding)!
